Last time around the ring for Sterrehof's Opium at Jumping Amsterdam

Last Sunday on the 1st of February Opium (son of Polydor) has gracefully said farewell to the international show jumping during Jumping Amsterdam. With 19 year of age, Opium has well deserved his retirement. Saturday night Opium and Marc jumped clear the 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier. Marc then decided not to participate in the jump-off but to take Opium for his last lap of honour. Opium has jumped a terrific last clear round in the international show jumping competition. On Sunday, after the jump-off of Sterrehof’s Opium Grand Prix of Amsterdam, there was a ceremony for Opium and he got to run his last round of honour after Ivo Campagne, from Stud Sterrehof, and Marc spoke some nice words about Opium. A beautifull clip was showed, showing the successes the carreer of Sterrehof’s Opium.
